Patties fried from tender and airy yeast dough with chicken meat, green onions and potatoes
Ingredients for the dough:
Water – 1.5 cups (375 gr.)
Sugar – 1.5 tablespoons
Salt – 1/3 tsp
Vegetable oil – 3 tablespoons
Flour – 550-600 gr.
Fresh Yeast – 1 teaspoon
In warm water dissolve sugar and yeast. Add 5 tablespoons of flour (100 gr.) And thoroughly, whisk the dough until the bubbles appear. Cover the bowl with a towel and put in a warm place for 15-30 minutes, until the foam cap appears. Add salt and the rest of the flour to the approached yeast. Knead the dough. Add vegetable oil at the end of the kneading. Cover the bowl with a napkin and put it in a warm place until it increases 2-3 times for 1.5-2 hours. The dough is ready to work! Now we are going to start the filling)
Chicken Breast – 1 pc. (700-800g)
Potatoes – 6-7pcs.
Onions – 2pcs
Vegetable oil – 4-5 tbsp.
Salt, pepper (to taste)
Bay leaf – 2-3 pcs.
Egg 1 pc
Greens to taste
Boil the chicken breast in slightly salted water (you can with bay leaf, onion). I cooked for 10 minutes, then removed it from the fire, covered it with a lid, and for 30 minutes the meat “reached”.
Peel the potatoes, boil in salted water with bay leaf, drain, knead and add the egg, just the yolk, mix everything.
Onions coarsely chopped and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.
Twist the boiled meat in a meat grinder, you can chop into small pieces, add mashed potatoes, onions, pepper, salt to taste and mix.
Now you can make pies:
We roll out a piece of dough and cut circles with any notch. On each circle we lay out the stuffing and pinch the edges with a “string” .. Thus, we form pies. on fire Then we turn the pies over to the other side and continue frying for a few more minutes. The rosy, fluffy, soft and very tasty cakes are ready.
